Boise, ID • October 25, 2019 — Boise Brewing is excited to announce its third “IPO” or Idaho Public Offering. This program allows Idaho residents to own a piece of the brewery while enabling the brewery to grow. To date, the Company has raised just over $800,000 and has over 450 local owners from previous IPOs.

“What I like about public ownership and what is a defining characteristic for us is that we are owned by our community. You don’t have to be wealthy. Ownership is approachable for normal craft beer drinkers to share in the potential benefits – both liquid and otherwise.” – Collin Rudeen, founder and President of Boise Brewing

Owners enjoy special benefits, including early access to new releases, a growler fill per month for life, VIP access to Hoptober Freshtival, voting rights, dividends if possible and being part of the tight-knit brewery community.

Boise Brewing intends to use proceeds from this offering primarily to make taproom improvements and possibly begin operations at a second taproom. Projects include the addition of a pilot fermenter for taproom-exclusive beers, furniture upgrades and – possibly – a kitchen. The Company anticipates an incredible amount of development in its neighborhood and would like to both extend an opportunity to participate in the ownership as well as provide a better customer experience. Between hotels, apartments and condos nearby, there are nearly 1,000 rooms in planning or current construction.

To reach customers further removed from the Boise downtown, Boise Brewing would like to open a second taproom. If enough equity is raised in this offering, the Company is looking at locations in Nampa, Meridian or Southeast Boise.

For more information please visit boisebrewing.com/ownership or email collin@boisebrewing.com.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hula your way to the Pineapple Express one-year anniversary party Friday, Aug. 30

Celebration at Kanak Attack founder's Hawaiian fusion restaurant to feature a luau and pig roast, hula dancers, happy hour and Aloha Friday lunch buffet premiere

Hawaiian fusion restaurant Pineapple Express (499 S. Main St., Meridian) will celebrate its one-year anniversary in fitting fashion with an all-day party culminating in a luau and pig roast on Friday, Aug. 30.

The festivities also will include hula dancers, happy hour specials and the premiere of the quick-serve restaurant's Aloha Friday lunch buffet. Hourly prize drawings will start at noon and continue throughout the day and evening.

    FULL SCHEDULE:

11am-2pm - Aloha Friday lunch buffet premiere

    4-6pm - Happy hour specials

    5-8pm - Dinner buffet

6pm - Luau with pig roast

    6:30pm - Hula dancers

Kanak Attack founder Michael Mohica opened Pineapple Express in July 2018. The restaurant, which doubles as headquarters for Kanak Attack's catering and food truck services, features indoor and outdoor seating and rotating a la carte menus for lunch and dinner.

Fans of Kanak Attack discovered a menu full of their favorites (kalua pig, rice bowls, poke bowls, tacos, house-made salads) alongside new offerings inspired by Mohica's homeland, such as the Spam Rice Bowl and Loco Moco (coconut rice, hamburger patty, eggs, kalua pig gravy).

"I would love to thank the community of Meridian for embracing Pineapple Express," Mohica said. "We have had a great first year and are looking forward to another great year serving up the flavors and aloha spirit of Hawaii."

The Hawaiian-born Mohica established Kanak Attack in 2000 after graduating from Boise State's culinary arts program and has grown the business into one of the Treasure Valley's most popular catering companies, best known for its traditional kalua pig roasts. Kanak Attack's two food trucks are fixtures at large events and annual festivals throughout the Valley. Mohica will debut Kanak Kitchen 11*11, a new breakfast and lunch restaurant, in Downtown Boise this fall.

Pineapple Express is open 11am to 8pm Monday-Saturday. Visit kanak.co and interact with Kanak Attack and Pineapple Express on Facebook and Instagram.

For images, interviews or more information, contact Michael Mohica, Kanak Attack and Pineapple Express Chef/Owner, at (208) 429-9111 or mike@kanak.co; or Chad Dryden with Bandwagon PR at (208) 284-0355 or chad@bandwagonpr.com.
