Temporary and seasonal hiring can be beneficial for an employer and can be a great way to build a resume', show value, and grow as an employee. However, the mindset of an employee who is not intending to make a career of the position differs from the employee who is. For some, they will engage readily in the work, while others may not take the position seriously. To help these employees be successful on the job, the supervisor needs to change the way they hire, train, guide, and build job ownership.

This interactive course will introduce supervisory tools designed to lead and coach temporary employees. Participants will learn and practice using these tools in class and will have an opportunity to customize these tools for the needs of their organization.
